Health & Safety Policy
At Nailora, the health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. Please read the following policies before your appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse or modify services if nails or surrounding skin show signs of infection, fungal issues, open wounds, or severe damage.
This is not a personal judgement — it is to protect your health and prevent the spread of infection to others.
We recommend consulting a doctor before booking if you have an existing nail or skin condition.
If you currently have long natural nails or an existing nail set, some services may require trimming or removal before your appointment can proceed.
Long nails can increase the risk of snagging, breakage, or discomfort during the service. Nailora is not liable for any discomfort or injury caused by pre-existing nail length or condition.
Please inform us of any known allergies or skin sensitivities before your appointment, particularly to acrylics, gels, adhesives, or nail products.
A patch test can be arranged on request prior to your service.
Nailora is not liable for reactions arising from undisclosed allergies.
We kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a contagious illness, or are experiencing flu-like symptoms.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who appears visibly unwell, to protect the health of our staff and other clients.
No cancellation fee will apply if you cancel due to illness — please notify us as early as possible.
All tools and equipment are sterilised or single-use between every client.
Workstations are sanitised before and after each appointment.
Staff follow strict hand hygiene protocols throughout the day.
We use hospital-grade disinfectants on all reusable implements.
Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
For safety reasons, children should not be near workstations where chemicals and sharp implements are in use.
We reserve the right to pause or stop a service if the safety of the child or staff is at risk.
Some nail products contain chemicals that may not be suitable during pregnancy.
Please inform us if you are pregnant so we can recommend safer alternatives and ensure your comfort throughout the service.
Our salon is ventilated to minimise exposure to chemical fumes.
If you have respiratory sensitivities or asthma, please let us know before your appointment.
Henna paste used at Nailora is 100% natural and free from synthetic dyes, including black henna (PPD), which can cause severe allergic reactions.
If you have sensitive skin or a history of skin reactions to henna or hair dye, please inform us before your appointment — a patch test can be arranged on request.
Henna is applied to the surface of the skin and is not suitable over open wounds, broken skin, rashes, or active skin conditions in the application area.
Results vary based on skin type, body temperature, and aftercare. Darker, longer-lasting stains are not guaranteed for all clients.
Please keep henna paste moist during the drying period and avoid water contact for at least 6–8 hours after removal for best results.
Nailora is not liable for reactions arising from undisclosed skin conditions or allergies.
By booking an appointment with Nailora, you acknowledge and agree to these health and safety policies.
